Managing a large-scale auto repair shop involves massive logistics: from receiving dozens of trucks and cars daily, to allocating mechanics, tracking parts, and generating final repair estimates. When traditional paper or legacy spreadsheet methods reach their limit, custom-built specialized CRM / ERP applications are required.
This is how the X-HOUSE collaboration for the Tir-Service.ro project was born.
1. The Problem and Context
The client, a local giant in the heavy vehicle repair market, needed a web-based system that all employees—mechanics, workshop managers, front desk staff, and accountants—could access concurrently from tablets and PCs.
The legacy internal system was rigid, with no ability to view in real-time what tasks each team had completed. Furthermore, searching for a firm in Arad county with experience in ERP-specific processes for web development in Arad naturally led the client to our team.
2. The Technical Solution Implemented
we opted for a modern Single Page Application (SPA) architecture for instant navigation without page reloads.
- Fast Frontend: Developed using the React + Vite ecosystem, the application ensures fluid interaction. The forms for opening technical sheets were simplified into step-by-step interfaces, featuring a minimalist design tailored for shockproof tablets used in the workshop.
- High-Performance Backend with Supabase: To store data securely, we utilized Supabase (an open-source BaaS based on PostgreSQL). This allowed us to secure data via Row Level Security (each mechanic only sees the vehicles assigned to them, while managers see the complete picture).
- Native PDF Report Generation: Any completed intervention is exported with a single click into a professional PDF report, validated and technically approved. The export layout matches the exact printable template expected by regulatory authorities for RAR standards.
3. Results
Today, the entire workflow (from parking the broken vehicle to issuing a standardized digital PDF estimate) happens exclusively through this new CRM application.
